G8 Energy Ministerial Meeting

The G8 Energy Ministerial Meeting will take place 16 March 2006  in Moscow, (President Hotel). The Meeting will be attended by the representatives of the World Bank, OPEC, IAEA, International Energy Agency, International Energy Forum, as well as the energy ministers of India, China, Brazil, Mexico, and South Africa.

The Meeting sessions will cover such themes as global energy security, promotion of energy efficiency and energy saving.

The Conference will be concluded by a press-conference of the Chair, Mr Viktor Khristenko, RF Minister of Industry and Energy
